Walter Andrew Stone (Andy)

Andy passed away peacefully at his home on October 11, 2016, after fighting a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Boise to Walt and Lois Stone on October 12, 1946. He attended Boise schools and graduated from Borah High in 1964. He graduated from ISU where he was a member of Phi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.

Andy loved life, making memories and sharing them with friends. He had a kind, fun loving, witty personality which attracted many life-long friends.

He was a beautiful skier, loved traveling, boating, hunting, scuba diving, cars and numerous outdoor activities.

Cruising the San Jaun and Canadian Gulf Islands was his favorite current past time. Sharing his best moorages and marinas with friends, and showing them how to catch the biggest crab.

He designed a beautiful home in Mazatlan, Mexico where he enjoyed dove hunting, fishing or just watching the water and birds go by his “screen saver”.

Andy was a retired real estate appraiser, of Walt Stone and Associates.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walt and Lois Stone and his step-son, Darreld Magallon (Butch) and numerous aunts and uncles.
