Boise

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, Sylvia Roxanne Dennis, who departed this world peacefully on December, 11, 2024, at the age of 81.

Born on Nov. 29, 1943 in Independence, MO.,Sylvia was the embodiment of grace, resilience, and boundless love. She dedicated her life to nurturing her family, cultivating joy, and inspiring those fortunate enough to have known her. As the maternal heart of our family, she was always ready with a warm smile, comforting words, and a generosity of spirit that knew no bounds.

Sylvia was a woman of remarkable strength and quiet wisdom. Her days were filled with purpose, whether tending to her beautiful home and flowers, perfecting her legendary culinary skills, or cheering on her children and grandchildren as they reached their milestones. She had a gift for making everyone feel special and valued, always putting the needs of others before her own.

She was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband, Dr. Dehryl Anthony (Tony) Dennis, her beloved sister, Cynthia Taylor, and her parents Sylvester and LaVonna Coleman. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by her sons Clay (Coby) Dennis and Kyle C. Dennis, her daughter, Denelle R. Cramer, and her grandchildren Logan Cramer, Paeton Cramer, Kameron Cramer, Emily Dennis, Trey Dennis, Jack Dennis, Ben Dennis, Celeste Dennis and great-grandchildren Keenan Fine, Addelyn Fine, and Linkin Lampman, who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

Her unwavering faith and love for life were evident to all who met her. She taught us the importance of family, kindness, and cherishing each moment. Sylvia’s life was a beautiful testament to the power of love and the impact one person can have on so many.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, On June 27th, from 5-8. Friends and family will be invited to gather, share memories, and honor her beautiful life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Idaho Food Bank, in her memory.

Rest in peace, Sylvia, in the presence of our Lord. Though our hearts are filled with sorrow, we take comfort in knowing that your love and lessons will guide us forever.
