Sally was homecoming queen and graduated Class of 1965 from Gooding High School. She went on to attend University of Idaho and graduated with a degree in Home Economics in 1969.

Sally married her high school sweetheart Michael Hall in December 1968.

Following graduation, Sally joined Mike, who was stationed at US Army Japan Headquarters at Camp Zama in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. They lived in Japan until 1971, embracing the culture and creating cherished memories abroad.

Sally began her professional career at IBM before pursuing her career in education. She became a dedicated teacher sharing her passion and knowledge through teaching Home Economics. Sally earned her master’s degree and her career grew to include roles in administration. She was a key contributor to helping open several charter schools in Boise where her leadership and care made a lasting impact on students and colleagues alike. She retired in 2008 leaving a legacy of compassion, innovation, and lasting impact in education.

Throughout her life, Sally was deeply passionate about supporting missionary work abroad and sharing her Christian faith with others. She was an active member of Ten Mile Christian Church, where she found strength and purpose in her involvement with the congregation and missionaries.

The family extends its sincere gratitude to the wonderful and compassionate staff at Grace Assisted Living. They are grateful for the loving care, support, and friendship the entire Grace staff provided Sally during her time there.

She is survived by her brother, Ron and his wife JoAnn, her son Tim and his wife April, their two daughters, Taylor, Aubrey and husband Zachary Cox, and by her daughter Selina and husband Richard Eshleman along with a host of extended family.

Sally will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, resilience, and unwavering commitment to her family, community, and faith.
