Sally Ann Compton Jefferies

Sally Ann Compton Jefferies passed away Wednesday, November 1st, 2023 in Boise, Idaho.

She was a loving mother and grama, dedicated to her family. Sally graduated from Boise High School in 1955 and worked as an administrative assistant in a local medical office for many, many years. She enjoyed her work and loved staying busy. In her free time, Sally was a passionate reader and a regular at many second hand bookstores. She also enjoyed sewing costumes, nightgowns and curtains for her family, gardening in her backyard, collecting antiques with her sister, and laughing out loud while drinking wine. Sally’s greatest joy came from supporting her grandchildren. From attending numerous choir performances, to spending hours at the baseball fields, she was her family’s number one fan. Sally’s little blue house in the East End was the gathering place for Easter egg hunts, lasagna dinners, and Christmas Eve celebrations.

She will be deeply missed by all. Sally is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Helen Compton, her sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Arthur Albanese, and her daughter, Linda Jefferies Enriquez. Sally is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann (Tim) Tatum and Nancy (Bill) Stephan, her son, John (Susan) Jefferies and son in law, John Enriquez. Also her 5 beloved grandchildren, Brandon (Diana) Jefferies, Jake (Michelle) Jefferies, Daulton Jefferies, Savannah (Max) Homer and Sydney Stephan as well as three great-grandchildren, Isaac, Averie, and James.

Her family is finding comfort knowing Sally is reunited with her beautiful daughter and her sister, who truly was her best friend.
