Roma Lou Dragoo

Roma Lou Dragoo age 84 of Middleton, Idaho passed away June 3, 2021 at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise, Idaho after a struggle with cancer.

Roma Lou was born September 17, 1936 in Emmett, Idaho to William Rudolph Cristy and Addie Mae Bagwell Cristy. She was the oldest of five children and grew up in Emmett. After high school she moved to Boise to attend secretarial college. She met her husband, James R. Dragoo, during this time and they were married on June 1, 1956. They lived in Middleton, Idaho for many years. Just prior to her passing they celebrated their 65 ^th wedding anniversary.

Roma Lou is survived by her husband of 65 years, James R. Dragoo, her son Daniel L. Dragoo of Middleton, Idaho, her daughter Anne Dragoo Jones (Victor) of Boise, Idaho, her granddaughter Julie Anne Jones of Boise, Idaho, grandson Cody Victor Jones (Heather) of Meridian, Idaho, and granddaughter Ashleigh Merrill Dragoo of Boise, Idaho. Roma Lou had four great grandchildren, Peyton, Presley, Fate and Joan. She is also survived by her brother William (Bill) Cristy and his wife Monique Cristy of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She had three nieces and three nephews as well as a large extended family.

She was preceded in death by her father William Rudolph Cristy, mother Addie Mae Cristy, brother Donald Cristy, sister Janet Arnel, and sister Vera Talkington.

A graveside service will be held Friday, June 11, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Dry Creek Cemetery in Boise, Idaho under the direction of Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel.
