Rhonda L.
Halvorson passed away at her home in Garden City, Idaho on Sunday, October 15,
2017. She was 61.
A loving mother
and grandmother, Rhonda was born on February 1, 1956 in Fresno, California.
As a young
woman, she attended nursing school, became a licensed vocational nurse and
dedicated the majority of her adult life caring for her special needs son,
Brenton.
Rhonda’s
passion was quilting and needle-working, and over the years her children and grandchildren
have amassed a collection of her beautiful homemade quilts.
In her spare
time she enjoyed RV-ing and spending time with her family camping in Mount
Laguna, CA.
She was
preceded in death by her sons, Brenton and Ryan; mother, Cindy; stepfather, Dan
and brother, John.
With a smile
that didn’t stop and a contagious laugh, Rhonda is lovingly remembered by son,
Chris; daughter, Shannon; grandchildren, Alex, Felicity, Joshua, Hayley, and
Dyllan; and long-term companion, Jim.
