Ramona L. Burbidge

Ramona L. Burbidge, age 92, of Boise, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021, in her home from natural causes after a long battle with cancer.

Ramona was born on January 8, 1929 in Carmen, Oklahoma.  She attended Boise College and earned an associate degree in business.  She was married to her husband, Eugene Burbidge, for more than 60 years.  Ramona was actively involved with her church and regularly volunteered with Right to Life of Idaho.  She loved knitting, singing, playing the piano and was an avid reader.

Ramona is survived by her three sons, Craig Burbidge of Los Angeles, CA, Alan Burbidge of Idaho Falls and Kent Burbidge of Boise; two daughters, Mellissa (Tony) Sadler of Fairfield, CA, and  Kristin Burbidge of Boise; her brothers, Stan Luther of Medford, OR, Alvin Luther of Bacolod, Philippines, Hal Luther of Orange Lake, FL; sixteen grandchildren, and more than twenty great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Burbidge; son, John Burbidge, and daughter, Laura Aton.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, June 16, at the Boise Church of Christ, 2000 N Eldorado St, Boise, ID 83704.  Pastor Mike Sanders will officiate.
