Peggy C. Struble

Peggy C. Struble, 82, of Roswell, Idaho, died Monday, December 5, 2022 at home of natural causes.

Peggy was born on September 27, 1940 in Aline, Oklahoma to Frank Paul Shippy and Winifred Lorene (Farabee) Shippy.  She moved with her family to Weiser, Idaho where she graduated from Weiser High School.  In March of 1968 Peggy returned to Oklahoma where she married Donald Dean Struble in Enid, Oklahoma.  Peggy and Don raised their family in Enid and she continued living there after Don’s death in 1990.  She ran a day care in Enid where she touched the lives of many children.  Peggy eventually moved to Roswell, Idaho where she resided at the time of her death.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing, garage sales and cooking.

Peggy was a member of the Followers of Christ.

Survivors include her children, Kila and Eric Grandeen of Caldwell, ID, Kyle and Corrin Struble of Rimbey, Alberta, Canada, Molly and Andy Licklider of Monument, Colorado, Chuck and Valerie Struble of Oklahoma and Bart and Shelli Struble of Oklahoma;  siblings, Polly Evans, Debbie Ruggs, Mark Shippy, Bobby Shippy, Kay Grinde, Steven Shippy and Greg Shippy; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Struble, parents, Frank and Lorene Shippy, brothers, Ricky, Joseph and Stuart Shippy, and sisters, Phyllis Goetz and Patty Denton.

A graveside service was held on December 9, 2022 at Peaceful Valley Cemetery, Caldwell, Idaho.
