Nohwi Lara

Nohwi Lee Lara was born January 11th,1986 in Overton, Nevada. Died April 3rd, 2026 in Nampa, Idaho at the age of 40. Daughter of Jaime Lara and Katherine Dougal. Nowhi was madly in love with her soulmate James McLeod. They shared nine and a half wonderful years together. They were perfect together, she had a very spirited side but James could bring out her gentleness. Nohwi loved fiercely when it came to family and friends, including the foster children she and James took in. Nohwi had boundless compassion for all living creatures and was always willing to help; she would give you the shirt off her back if you asked her. She was a picture of true strength anyone who knew her could tell you. Though her time with us was too short, she has been reunited with her older sister Victoria and her mother and other family members who have predeceased her. Nowhi is survived by her spouse James McLeod, father Jaime Lara, mother Elvie Lara, Sister Sariah Hussey and Brother Jaime Lara. Sister in law Kira Lara, Grandparents Alberto and Ramona Lara. She cherished her two nephews Jay Lara and William Hussey who loved her so deeply. In addition she is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, cousins in Idaho, California and The Philippines. Nohwi is going to be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
