Mildred Farnsworth

Millie Farnsworth passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 22, at the age of 96. She was born on July 1, 1929, in Weldona, Colorado, and moved to the Parma-Wilder area at a very young age in a Ford Model A .

Millie later settled in Boise, where she married Clayton Farnsworth on December 10, 1951. They had three children: Bill Farnsworth, Gary Farnsworth, and Carol Sue. Millie was blessed with two grandsons, Nick and Chris Farnsworth, and their spouses Heather and Becky, as well as two great-grandchildren, Skyla and Corben. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jennifer.

One of Millie’s greatest challenges came early in life when she was left to raise three young children after Clay’s tragic passing in an airplane crash in August 1964. Millie also was a librarian for the Meridian School District, which she took great pride in.

Millie will be remembered for her amazing sense of humor she had even up to her final days, her warm smile, and the joy she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
