Lucille Wallace

Lucille Wallace was born in Central Idaho on 7-17-34 and passed away on 5-9-16 at 81 years old in Nampa Idaho. She lived in Central during her early years, then Midvale, and spent most of her life in Boise. She graduated from Boise High School in 1952. She married William (Bill) Wallace on September 25, 1953, and was married almost 62 years. Lucille worked for K-Mart in Boise for 25 plus years and once she retired she began working for Edward’s Greenhouse in Boise. This was Lucille’s favorite place to work for almost 15 years as she loved anything and everything about flowers and the people she worked with. She had beautiful flowers of all kinds in her yard and had a knack for growing gorgeous Roses. She also enjoyed reading novels, crocheting, going to auctions and buying old plates, and collecting Thomas Kincaid pictures. She loved old movies, especially if Harrison Ford was in it. Survivors include: 4 sons, Frank (Sue), Jeff (Alicia), Bob (Ramona), and Bret Wallace, 12 Grandchildren, and 7 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, and her parents Eugene and Bessie Murphy. Services will be held at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel 5400 Fairview Avenue, Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 3:00 p.m.
