Linda Lou Van Over
Linda Van Over, 73, of Meridian, died Tuesday, August
18, 2015 in Boise. A memorial service
will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Meridian Assembly of
God, 1830 N. Linder Road, Meridian Idaho.
Linda was born on January 11, 1942 in Carthage,
Missouri to Everett Ray Van Wey and Anna Louise Van Wey (Hedge). She attended high school at Borah High,
graduating in 1961. Linda married Larry
Earl Van Over at First Christian Church in Boise, Idaho on June 11, 1961. Together they resided in Boise, Moscow,
Gooding, Shoshone, Pocatello, Lewiston, Twin Falls and Meridian. Throughout those years Linda worked as a
Secretary and Bookkeeper. She enjoyed bible
studies and lunch with girlfriends and had a special interest in participating
in the lives of her grandchildren and volunteering at her church. She was a member of Meridian Assembly of God,
Christian Women's Club, Bible Study Fellowship and the Butterfly Girls.
Linda is survived by her husband: Larry Van Over,
daughters: Buffy Drewett (Mark) and Jennifer Sturtevant (Don), sister: Alice
Hughes, brothers: Ray Van Wey (Vi) and Jack Van Wey (Denise), grandchildren:
Hannah (17), Gabriel (12) and Sarah (11) Sturtevant; and many nieces and nephews. All Treasure Valley Residents.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Everett and
Lou Van Wey.
