Keith A. Gillette, our beloved son and brother, passed away unexpectedly on November 30, 2015.
Keith was born to Jack and Ruth Gillette on January 26, 1958 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He grew up in Boise, graduating from Capital High School in 1976. In 1980 he graduated from Idaho State University with a degree in journalism and moved to California to begin his career with the Boy Scouts of America. Several years later he returned to Boise, working for Albertson’s Corporate Office and then Wells Fargo Bank. At the time of his death, he was employed at the State of Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.
Keith’s Christian lifestyle reflected in his love of family and friends, and his community outreach activities in the Boise Valley. He enjoyed camping and fishing with his family, and was an avid sports fan, especially when the Idaho State Bengals or Idaho Vandals were playing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack, and his brother, Charles. He is survived by his mother Ruth, sister Kathy of Portland, Oregon, sister Amy of Salem, Oregon, an aunt, numerous cousins, and his beloved dog Shadow.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday. December 12, 2015 at 10:30 am at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, 5400 Fairview Avenue, Boise. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to your favorite charity.
