June Ann Gregory

June Ann Gregory was born on May 22,1956 and passed away peacefully at the age of 69, on October 10, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Margaret (Lokey) Gregory in Las Vegas in 1972, and her father, Arthur Roy Gregory in Boise in 1995.

June spent her early childhood years in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, before her family relocated back to Las Vegas, where she graduated from Western High School in 1974. She moved to Idaho and attended Boise State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in business in 1978.

June began her career in 1978 with the USDA as an enumerator, making calls to farmers to gather essential crops and acreage information. In 1986 she began work in ICU as a unit clerk. From 1989 to when she retired in 2016, she did medical transcription at Idaho Cardiology. She worked for both St. Als and St. Luke in the course of her career.

Beyond her professional life, June loved classical music, was a talented pianist, and an avid crafter. She loved sewing, quilting and making blankets and clothing for babies and children. She had a quiet kindness that touched many.

Her faith was a steadfast anchor in her life. June submitted to the will of God for her life at a young age, and enjoyed fellowship with others who were committed to follow the path that Jesus laid out.

June leaves behind a large and loving family of friends across Mississippi, Las Vegas, and Boise, who will miss her cheerful, steady, and kind personality. June loved children which was manifest in her generous donations of handmade quilts and afghans to the St. Luke's Health Foundation, helping the NICU and Pediatrics departments. June was also a strong and consistent supporter of the American Heart Association.

A Memorial service will be held at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel on November 8, 2025, at 2:00 pm. A casual gathering with coffee, drinks, and snacks will be held immediately following the Memorial service at the home of Dean and Erin Richtsmeier’s. 7125 W El Caballo Dr. Boise

All are invited to a burial taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 15, 2025, at 12:00 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery.
