John Christian Lindbloom

John Christian Lindbloom, of Eagle, died on December 19, 2019.

John was born on December 12, 1960, in Boise, Idaho, to John Eldon Lindbloom and Dorothy May McPherson Lindbloom. He was a graduate of Meridian High in 1979 and studied at TVCC for his Pilot’s License.

He married the love of his life, Patsy T., on February 28, 1981 in Star, Idaho.

John's employment began as a carpenter for twelve or more years with a family owned framing company. Due to health reasons he left framing and went into his other career interest Real Estate. He started his own real estate company as owner and Broker of Lindbloom Realty for almost 30 years. Through those many years John met and developed many long-lasting business and personal friendships.

John was a man of many interests and talents. In his younger years he hunted, fished, and would go off road traveling wherever he could get a vehicle to go … or Not go! His favorite pass time was cars. He loved working on them, building them, and above all racing them. In his high school years, he raced his Camaro out at the Firebird racetrack. Then he became a father and devoted his time to the family taking them on many enjoyable adventures hunting, fishing, boating, and camping. He also provided the family a home on the river that provided so many great memories of growing up and living there. He came back to this hobby in 2010 with a 1966 Chevelle, and soon after shared this hobby with his wife and her 1971 Chevelle. Together they enjoyed many great times racing and creating another family of friends there at the track.

John loved his family, home and friends. He devoted himself to his family above all to provide a good life full of love and happiness as best he could. He loved his children and grandchildren and did his best to instill in them the values of how to live a good life. To always help those in need, to honor and complete any commitment or goal you made or tried to achieve to the best of your ability, above all to stand by your word.

Who John is and was is reflected in his family, friends and all those people he touched in the time he was with us.

John is survived by: Patsy his wife of almost 40 years (Eagle).

They were blessed with two children: A daughter, Morgan (Lindbloom) Wilson — Married to Caleb Wilson with two children, Granddaughter Lily and Grandson Cody (Graham WA); A son, Christian Lindbloom — Grandson Kaysen (Middleton, ID);

Brother: Jim (Anita) Lindbloom (Caldwell), Three Sisters: Marilyn Cope (Boise), Nina Wheeler (Boise) Kathy (Sean) Carey (Utah).

He was preceded in Death by his Parents, Eldon and Dorothy Lindbloom (Boise).

A graveside inurnment will take place on December 27, 2019 at Star Cemetery at 1 p.m.
