Joan Marie Cayford Jones

Joan Marie Cayford Jones was born on February 24, 1934 to Fred and Laura Belle Cayford in Portland Oregon.  She had only one sibling, her sister Clara who she adored.  Joan loved her family and she had a very special bond with her Grandparents Cornett whom she and Clara stayed with for prolonged periods when their parents were on jobs for Grandpa Freds career.

Joan attended schools in Boise Idaho, graduating from Boise High.

She met a handsome young Serviceman, Jack Gordon Jones, and they quickly fell for each other

( literally ! ) and were married soon after on July 10, 1952.  They moved all over the country with Jacks Service and Career.  They were blessed with 4 wonderful children, Vickie Sue, Karon Lynn, Kelvin Neil and Harold Ray.  Their love for each other is manifested in the lives of their children and their families.

We know Joan is happily reunited with her parents, her sweetheart and her precious Vickie Sue along with many many more of those she deeply loved who have gone on before her.
