Joan Ellen Darr
Joan Ellen Darr, loving mother and grandmother, 83, of Kuna,
died on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at her home.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28 at Dry
Creek Cemetery, Boise.
Joan was born on May 14, 1936 in Boise, Idaho to Warren C.
White and Bonnie Ellen Kellogg White.
She graduated from Boise High School and went on to schooling at Boise
Community College. She was married for a
time to Lee Darr. Joan worked for the
Internal Revenue Service. She enjoyed
reading, traveling, antiquing and garage sale hunting. Joan had a special interest in family history
and gardening.
Joan is survived by Terri Nagel (daughter), Shelly Murphy
(daughter), Ferlin Murphy (Son-In-Law), Gary Darr (Son), Johanna Darr
(Daughter-In-Law); grandchildren, Kristy Whittaker, Laurie Whittaker, Michael
Whittaker, Christopher Darr, Shawna Nelson, Nicole Darr, Joncie Darr, Jayson
Murphy, Elisha Murphy, Kelli Murphy; and numerous great-grandchildren and
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her parents; Warren C. and Bonnie
Ellen White, sisters; Mary Giger, Florence Lovejoy, Dorothy Sherer.
Memorials are suggested for St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
