Jane D. Howard, 71, was born on January 29, 1944 in Boise, Idaho to Henry Ramsey and Olive Ramsey (Pruitt).  She passed away peacefully on February 25, 2015 at her home in Boise, Idaho, with loved ones by her side.  Jane valiantly fought cancer for the last year of her life.  She lost her battle with cancer but won her fight with life.

Jane was a 1962 graduate of Borah High School.  On June 8, 1968 she married Donald L. Howard at the Cathedral of the Rockies United Methodist Church, in Boise, Idaho.  She lived in Boise, and Mtn. Home, Idaho throughout her life.

She worked in real estate, and she also did office administration.  Jane enjoyed many things, including scenic walks, square dancing, puzzles, card games with family and friends, singing in the choir, bowling and BSU FOOTBALL!!!  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband Donald L. Howard, his mother Lula Stephenson, her parents, Hank and Olive Ramsey, and her brother Ronnie.

She is survived by her children: Timothy and Jennifer Howard; Patrick and Nicole Howard; and Laon Howard, her sisters: Norma and Lester Wolfgram, Carol Whaley, grandchildren: Joshua; Christopher; Benjamin; Nicholas; Rachel; Dallan; Elizabeth; and Wyatt, as well as numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

The family would like to thank the home care providers from Multi-Care, the doctors and nurses at Meridian MSTI, and St Luke’s Hospice for the love, support and comfort they provided the last few months of her life.

There will be a memorial service for Jane on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel.
