James L. Otter, 78,
of Caldwell, Idaho, died Thursday, January 28, 2016, in a Nampa Assisted Living
center.
James was born in
Boise, Idaho on July 14, 1937 to June Scholer Otter and John Vernon Otter. He grew up in Boise and graduated from Boise
High School. He later attended the
College of Idaho and Idaho State University. In addition to Boise James lived
in various cities including Caldwell, Meridian, Nampa and Kemmerer, Wyoming.
James enjoyed
attending Meridian Auto Racing and was an avid fan. He was a former member of the Boise Odd
Fellows Lodge.
Survivors include
his brother, John M. Otter, Santa Fe, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents in
1999.
