Jacob (Jake) Porter Williams was born in Anchorage, Alaska on December 21,
1976. The delivery nurse immediately put him into a Santa Claus hat and gave him
to his mother to hold. He was living in Boise, Idaho at the time of his death.
His father was Jack Roger Williams and preceded Jake in death. His mother is
Judith Condict Williams of Kettle Falls, WA. Jake’s older brother is Seth D.
Williams, wife Natalie Graham Williams, son Cooper D. Williams and daughter
Kennedy A. Williams of Clearfield, UT. Jake’s sister is Meegan Williams
Littlefield, husband Jason M. Littlefield, Son Keaton G. Littlefield and son
Aiden R. Littlefield of Rexburg, ID. Jake’s younger sister is Lynn A. Williams
of Chewelah, WA.
Soon after graduating from high school, Jake served a two year mission for
the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Detroit Michigan Mission.
After his mission, he attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. He married Tessa
Crowshaw September, 2002 in the LDS Boise Idaho Temple. During his lifetime Jake
lived in Anchorage, Alaska, Hobbs, New Mexico, Mattawa, WA and in Boise, ID from
2000 until his death. He worked at many jobs including as a commercial building
painter, heating and air-conditioning installer and repairman, as a grocery
clerk, as a fast food manager, and as a phone representative for
Hewlett-Packard. Jake enjoyed working and socializing with people and was
blessed with many loving friends. His hobbies included collecting Action Figures
and belt buckles, shooting his combination bow, cooking, drawing, reading and
playing Bocce Ball. Jake was an Eagle Scout. People who knew Jake said they
loved him because he was so happy and would make them laugh. His family and
friends love Jake dearly and will miss him until they meet with him again.
Survivors include Jake’s mother, Judith Condict Williams of Kettle Falls,
WA, his older brother, Seth D. Williams, wife Natalie Graham Williams, son
Cooper Williams and daughter Kennedy Williams of Clearfield, UT. His sister,
Meegan Williams Littlefield, husband Jason Littlefield, sons Keaton and Aiden
Littlefield live in Rexburg, ID. His younger sister, Lynn Williams lives in
Chewelah, WA.
