Ivan Nikolayevich Bondar

A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6th, 2023 at Bethesda Christian Church, 1021 W. 8th St., Meridian ID,  with burial to follow at Morris Hill Cemetery in Boise.

Ivan Nikolaevich Bondar was born on March 25th, 1951, in the village of Polyany, Rivne region in Ukraine, into the Christian family of Nikolay and Olga Bondar. 

He was the eldest son of nine children. He married Tatyana Nikolaevna Sokolova on June 25, 1974. In 1979, he was baptized and dedicated his life to the Lord. God richly blessed their family and gave them 3 sons and 2 daughters by the names of:  Vadim, Igor, Irina, Daniel, and Lily.  God also blessed him with 12 wonderful grandchildren. He actively participated in the ministry in the Holy Trinity Church in the city of Rivne.   

In 1989, the family immigrated to the United States of America, to the state of California, to a city of San Mateo, where Ivan Nikolaevich actively participated in the ministry of the church for five years.      In 1994, the family moved to the state of Idaho, city of Meridian. Ivan Nikolaevich also actively participated in the ministry in the local church there as well.

Throughout his life, he loved and served the Lord with all his heart. He was an example for the whole family, offering guidance and advice to children and grandchildren to always serve the Lord and be faithful to Him in all circumstances of life.

On November 30, 2023, at the age of nearly 73, Ivan Nikolaevich passed into eternity to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

His family as well as his brothers and sisters in Christ will greatly miss him and they suffered a very great loss.
