Obituary
Geoffrey C. Everts was born
in Harbor City, California on June 27, 1958 to Connor Everts and Chizuko Sugita
DeQueiroz. He passed away on October 13,
2015 at the age of 57. A memorial service
will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Alden-Waggoner
Funeral Chapel, Boise.
Geoffrey attended UC
Riverside, UC Davis and Cal Arts, graduating with a Fine Arts degree. He worked as an animator for both Baer and
Disney Animation. Geoffrey resided in
Los Angeles and Boise, Idaho.
Naturally Geoffrey's hobbies
and special interests revolved around art.
He enjoyed film, pen and ink artwork, ceramics, one on one drawing
lessons at schools in the area, photography, murals, and of course the chalk
drawings at the yearly festival in Boise.
He was a hiker and a member of the Treasure Valley Artist Alliance and
Boise Open Studios Collective Organization.
He is survived by his
daughters, Kristen Stokes, Los Angeles, CA, Chelsea Everts, Fayettville, AR; granddaughter,
Adley Stokes, Los Angeles, CA; mother, Chizuko DeQueiroz, Irvine, CA; father,
Connor Everts, Torrance, CA, and his siblings.
