Faye M Hill - beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on August 9 th , 2021 at the age of 86. She was born to Varner and Irma Hopkins in Caldwell, Id. The family moved to Adrian Oregon when Faye was young. After graduating from Adrian High School, she went to work for Idaho Power. She met the love of her life, Lester Hill, on a blind date, and they married in December of 1955. They had five children together and two children from Lester’s previous marriage. She was a stay-at-home mom while the children were little. They moved to Boise in 1965. After the all the children were in school, she went to work for Graybar Electric Supply. After a couple years, she found her career as a social worker with the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare. She retired from the state in 1997. Retirement brought on lots of travel throughout the United States. She and Lester met lots of new friends on their adventures. They loved to take their grandchildren camping and likewise the grandchildren always enjoyed the trips as well.
She is survived by her loving husband Lester Hill, five children, Jim Hill, Tony Hill (Sandee), Vicky Price, Suzanne Struchen (Royce), and Tim Hill; thirteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Ken Hopkins (Bev), aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by both parents, son Randy, son-in-law Mike Price, daughter Stevie, brother Bill and sister Ella Lee.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 13 th, 2021, at Dry Creek Cemetery 9600 W. Hill Road Boise ID. A celebration of her life will follow the graveside service at the Eagle Community & Senior Center at 312 E. State Street Eagle, ID.
