Doris Jean Fox, 86, was born on August 12, 1931 in Sterling, CO.
She passed peacefully surrounded by loved
ones on November 29, 2017.
She is preceded in death by her husband Furman "Bud" Lee Fox, 3
sisters, and 2 brothers.
She is survived
by her brother Les and wife Barbara; sister-in-law, Barb; children, Doug, Kim,
David, and Dennis, their spouses; 13 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
She married the love of her life on June 3, 1951.
They lived in Belflower, CA until they moved
to Idaho in 1997.
Her greatest joy was her family.
Doris was a loving wife, awesome mom, and amazing grandma.
She enjoyed making quillows and carrying on
her family's tradition of baking angel food cakes from scratch.
She was actively involved in her church, including
baking cookies for the youth group.
The family is ever grateful and Doris was blessed to have her granddaughter
Becky as her best-friend, constant companion, and caregiver for the past 1 1/2
years.
Many personal thanks to the staff at Shaw Mountain of Cascadia and Treasure
Valley Hospice.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Summit
Church,
10375 W Overland Rd, Boise. A graveside service
will follow at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, at Meridian Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of the
Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel.
