Donald Curtis Martin

Donald Curtis Martin passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025, at the age of 93. He was born on November 14, 1931, in Wilder, Idaho, and lived a long, full life marked by devotion to family and hard work.

Don worked for the J.R. Simplot Company for 35 years, providing steady support for his family. Together with his beloved wife, Jean, they raised their 12 children in Middleton, Idaho.

Don enjoyed spending time in his shop, where he rebuilt boats and trailers and helped his children with their own projects—always ready to lend a hand.

He is survived by his brother Ray(Bud) Martin, Buds wife Vi Martin, as well as his 12 children, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean Martin.

Graveside service will be held on July 14th 2025 at Dry Creek Cemetery, where family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a life well lived.

Don will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy lives on in the strong family he, and Jean built, the lessons he shared, and the many lives he touched.
