Dawn Hohrein, 56, was born on October 22nd, 1967. She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by the ones she loved.

Dawn spent most of her life in Idaho & Texas. Her home was in Kuna, Idaho with her husband Dan Hohrein of 36 years. She had 2 children, Jessica Treat, and Jeremy Hohrein. As well as 5 grandchildren and one on the way.

The earlier part of her life she worked in different assisted livings giving around the clock care for the elderly. She later owned her own assisted living with her husband in Meridian,  ID named "Almost Home". This facility is one she continued to poor her heart into for many years.

She enjoyed being a wife, mother, and grandmother more than anything. You could always find her out with her grandkids shopping or at garage sales.  She was constantly adding to her "I love Lucy" collection! She was even found many times on the side of the road talking to cows as they were her absolute favorite. She loved being at home in the front yard with her grandkids and dogs enjoying the sun and her flowers.

Dawn was someone who brought a smile to everyone she crossed paths with and would help absolutely anyone with anything she could. Weather it had been a stranger or someone she had known for years. She was truly inspiring to so many. She will absolutely be missed.

Dawn is survived by her husband Dan Hohrein, Her daughter Jessica Treat and Husband Steven Treat, Her Son Jeremy Hohrein and wife Gracie Hohrein, her grandchildren Braxxtyn Hohrein, Thomas Treat, Brynleigh Hohrein, Brixxlee Hohrein,  and Carter Treat. Along with her siblings Mona Lindsay, Joe Lindsay, Lydia Jennings, and Connie Ward.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Lorine Lindsay. Her mother in later years Dorthy Lindsay. As well as two siblings, Wirt Edmonds and Nancy southerland-holmes. She is reunited with so many loved ones especially her best friend Tawna Herrera.

A celebration of life will be held February 10th, 2024 @ Alden-Waggoner Funeral chapel.( 5400 Fairview Ave, Boise, ID 83706) from 2-4 PM.There will be no set schedule. We will share memories and stories of Dawn!
