David Lee Brooks

David Lee Brooks

David was born August 9, 1958, the oldest of 13 kids, to Bob and Bonnie Brooks in Eagle Idaho. He was raised in Garden City then Star Idaho where he enjoyed riding horses, working on cars, and adventures with his younger brothers. David graduated from Meridian High School in 1976. He met the love of his life, Linda Bangs, and they married September 9, 1977. David was glad to become the Dad to Danielle and Angela. He was a hard worker driving truck most of his career. He loved to hunt and fish with his dad and brothers. He liked painting vehicles and secretly hoped one day to have his own body shop.  His perfectionism helped him make vehicles look really sharp. Dave and Linda liked riding motorcycles, boating, and most of all spending time with their girls, granddaughter, and great granddaughters. Those girls always brought a smile to his face. David passed November 14th after a serious head injury he could not beat after a motorcycle accident.

Dave was preceded in death by his mom, dad, and one brother. He is survived by Linda, Danielle (Dave) Rauscher, Angela Jacobson, Taniesha (Andrew) Tuttle, Maelee, Isabelle Tuttle, and his pet kitty, Sneaky. He is also survived by 6 brothers and 5 sisters. Services will be held @ 10 a.m. Saturday November 19th at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel 5400 Fairview Ave. in Boise, Idaho. There will be a viewing during the services.
