David Alan Edwards

David Alan Edwards, age 55, passed away March 27th, 2026 surrounded by family and friends.

David was born September 9th, 1970 in Port Angeles Washington to Henry Lee Edwards and Frances Lynn Edwards. He was the second of two children. He graduated from the Willows program at Capital High School, Olympia Washington, in 1990.

David was active in community programs such as Special Olympics track and field. He was awarded many Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals in his younger years. Fishing was also a big part of his life.

He had a special ability of knowing if someone was struggling with life's troubles and would seek them out to hold their hand and pray with them.Every Tuesday David would attend a Bible Study with his dad and a group of their friends at the Life's Kitchen Restaurant. He was loved by all his friends. He liked to tease people and call them cocoa puff, cream puff, tickle-foot, meatball, or grandma (all in good fun).

His favorite foods were burgers, shrimp, or chocolate pie.

Wherever he went David brought smiles and joy to everyone he met. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

David is preceded in death by his beloved mother Frances Edwards.

He is survived by his father Henry Edwards and wife Jeanne. His brother Don Edwards and wife Sonja, and six nieces and nephew; Kylee, Forrest, Maijka, Emma, Grace, and Laura (Beth), along with five great-nephews and great-nieces.
