Daniel Wayne Richards

When he was 15 he started dating Angela Eells, and they were married on Aug 6, 1988. Their 32 years of marriage were blessed with 3 children; Bo (Aleica) Richards, Israelle (Keith) Henman, & Sierra (Cory) Berends, as well as 8 beautiful grandchildren. He raised his family in Meridian, then Parma in the last 15 years. Dan took his family on a lot of great trips, making memories we will cherish always. He taught us a lot by example and through caring conversations. He was a loving husband, awesome Dad, and the best grandpa any kid could ask for.

Dan was a lifelong member of the Followers of Christ church. He loved the Lord and his church family. He thoroughly enjoyed going visiting and having brethren over to share a 'big, sloppy' meal. When he wasn't working hard, he was playing hard. He loved hunting, going out to eat with friends, camping and boating, working on his place, & most of all, time spent with his grandkids.

Dan was a lot of things: a driven entrepreneur, a good friend, a strong Christian & a natural leader. He was big-hearted, brave, generous, & a joy to be around. Dan achieved a lot in his life, but the best thing he worked for and strived after, was his crown of life. He was truly one in a million and we loved him 'a hundred million.' He will be greatly missed, and his faithful example will be remembered.

He was preceded in death by his dad, grandparents Mike & Gladys DeGraaff, grandpa Wayne Richards, and father-in-law Tim Eells. Dan entered into rest at home on Sept 27, 2020.

He was so blessed to have so many care for him. The family thanks you all for your love and prayers.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at the Lower Boise Cemetery, Parma.  Services are under the direction of the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, Boise.
