Connie J. Rhoton

Boise, Idaho – Connie Joan Rhoton 73 of Boise, Idaho passed away peacefully on May 30th, 2025, due to illness, with her family at her side. Connie was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho and spent her childhood on a small farm in Grant, Idaho.

Connie is survived by her spouse James Birdsall of Boise, Idaho and siblings Craig Harris (Carrie) of Florence, Alabama, Carma Banks (John) of St. Augustine, Florida, and Denise Loucks (Frank) of Boise, Idaho and stepson Nathan Birdsall along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents Ramona J (Stoltenberg) Prophet and stepfather Rex B. Prophet and father Paul M. Harris.

Connie and Jim met in Orinda, California in 1994. They moved to Boonville, California in 2001, where they had many adventures: built houses, raised chickens and cared for a vineyard and their loving dog Mattie.

In 2011 Connie and Jim moved to Boise to help care for Connie’s mom and be near family. Connie worked for Intermountain Gas until she retired. During her retirement years Connie and Jim enjoyed walking on the greenbelt and watching Nascar races together.

We remember Connie’s easy-going spirit, who flowed with life and made friends easily. Connie was a wonderful person who is greatly missed by family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 8th for close family and friends.
