Christopher James Holmes

Christopher J. Holmes died in the arms of his loving wife on November 8, 2023 in Star, Idaho.  He was surrounded by people who loved and treasured him beyond words.  Chris was everything wonderful-loyal, kind, funny, tenderhearted, intelligent, and dedicated to those he loved. He touched the hearts of so many people throughout his life-he was a cherished husband, parent, grandparent, son, brother and friend.  

We walked side by side for 31 years-we shared many good times, many joys, good health and  a wonderful life.  We then shared bad times, sorrows, illness and then his passing.  He will always be missing from me.  

Chris and I were very grateful to those who reached out to us with their kindness and care during the last three years. Chris always approached his last challenge with the same determination that he always had-never complaining, never quitting, never ceasing to believe better things were coming.  

I love you endlessly, Chris.  “My heart is, and always will be, yours”.
