Memorial services for Christopher Fuller Thomas, 61, of Crescent Rim Drive, Boise, who passed away in his home from complications due to cancer will be conducted Saturday February 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel.

Chris was born February 19th, 1954 in Boise, Idaho where he was raised and educated. He attended Colorado College, where he graduated in 1976 with a bachelor’s degree in geology. He returned to Boise where he eventually began a marketing career for Ore-Ida Foods. Later in life he pursued a career as a small business owner of the Berlitz Language Center.

He was an avid reader, traveler, scuba diver and skier. He was bi-lingual in English and German and always had a deep fascination for German culture. He held positions in several community organizations including Rotary Club, Toast Masters and United Way.

He married Colleen O’Keefe Thomas on August 11, 2007 with whom he shared nearly nine wonderful years. He was preceded in death by his beloved sister Frances Ellen Thomas. He is survived by his wife, Colleen Thomas, his two sons, Miles and Carter Thomas, his two brothers Andrew and John Thomas and his step children Jodi and Doug Knibbe and Ryan and Carl Combe.
