Chuck Conn passed peacefully in Boise Idaho in the company of family. Born in Kingfisher Oklahoma in 1937, he was raised in Wichita Kansas and Toronto Canada, where he graduated high school as valedictorian and four-sport varsity athlete.
Chuck settled in New England after earning engineering degrees at MIT. After early work in educational filmmaking, he was a pioneer in human potential and organizational dynamics, working as a management consultant for several firms. Chuck was a hugely passionate outdoorsman and adventurer, and was one of the earliest to run the massive Colorado river rapids in an open canoe. Later he and his second wife Karin completed a number of transatlantic passages in their sailboat Osiris.
Chuck is survived by four sons, Aidan, Jackson, Bard, and Charles, as well as five grandchildren.
