Brandon Jay Steger

Brandon Jay Steger passed away at the age of 33 on Saturday, October 31, 2015. A celebration of life potluck was held on Sunday, November 8, at the Orchard Plaza, 1111 Orchard St., Suite 111, Boise. His remains will be laid to rest alongside his mother at Nishnabotna Cemetery in Manilla, Iowa.

He was born on October 6, 1982, in Ventura, California to Randal Steger and Linda Eickelkamp. He made his way to Boise in 1989 and graduated from Borah High in 2001. He was a devoted employee of Commercial Tire for many years. He was a loyal fan of the Chicago Cubs, Oakland Raiders, and the Miami Heat. He was an excellent bowler and he loved to watch the UFC and WWE. He was eager about seeing the upcoming Star Wars movie and playing the new game. He loved fishing, swimming, barbequing, and his dog, Boone. He was a sincere and hardworking son, brother, friend, and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his brother, Aaron; Father, Randal; his maternal grandparents, Darrell and Shirley Eickelkamp; four aunts, Sue, Peg, Carol, and Karen, an uncle, Rick, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda, and paternal grandparents, James and Jean Steger.
