Bess Palmer

Bess Palmer, 87 of Boise, ID passed away in Boise, ID on September 1, 2021 of natural causes.

Bess was born May 26, 1934 in Roswell, ID to Raymond and Allene Hammond. Bess attended schools in Caldwell, ID, graduating from Caldwell High School in 1952. Bess married John Palmer in 1959. Bess and John raised their three daughters, Deena Lewis, Lisa Palmer and Karen Palmer in Boise, ID. Bess and John enjoyed playing golf and have been long time players at Plantation Country Club.

Bess is survived by her husband John, their daughters and two grandsons, David and Scott Lewis. Bess was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Allene Rae Stephenson and two brothers, Jim and Cliff Hammond.

A celebration of life will be held at The River Club (Plantation Country Club) on Sunday, September 12 ^th , 2021 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.

The life philosophy of Bess’ was, “to know me was to love me, and if you didn’t, that’s your own damn fault.”
