Barbara Jean Walters
Barbara Jean Walters, 71, of Boise, passed away on
Saturday, February 28, 2015 in a local hospital. A memorial service will be
held on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 7 p.m., at St. Mark's Catholic Church,
Boise.
Barbara was born on October 8, 1943, in Mishawaka,
Indiana to Jean Alice (Weisweaver) Davies and Richard Good. She graduated from
East Denver High School in Denver, CO in 1961. Barbara married Richard A.
Walters on May 5, 1962 in Boise, ID. She worked in accounts receivables for various
medical groups, Ada County Paramedics, St. Alphonsus Hospital, Idaho Cardiology
Associates, and St. Luke's Hospital, Boise, ID. She was a supporter of
Birthright of Boise.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Couture
of Boise; granddaughter, Sara Couture of State College, PA; grandson, Sean
Couture of Meridian, ID; son, Ronald Walters, of Dayton, OH; sisters, Patricia
Falk of Meridian, ID and Jessica Malley of Billings, MT; and her faithful
companion, her dog, Skippy.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Barbara's
name to Birthright of Boise, or the Idaho Humane Society.
