Beloved Husband, Father, and Friend
Annivas Georgilakis, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished member of the Greek community, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026. He leaves behind his two sons, Gus Georgilakis and George Georgilakis, who will carry forward the values, strength, and warmth that defined his life.
Annivas’ life was a true testament to love, loyalty, and community. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family and remained deeply committed to uplifting and supporting the Greek community that meant so much to him.
A man who embraced the simple joys of life, Annivas found happiness in the outdoors, gardening, music, and dancing. His welcoming spirit and vibrant personality made him the heart of every gathering. He loved sharing stories from his childhood and adult years in Greece—stories filled with humor, wisdom, and the rich heritage he proudly carried with him.
Annivas will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy lives on in the community he supported, the stories he passed down, and the love he devoted selflessly to his family and friends.
A Trisagion service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, 5400 Fairview Ave., Boise. A viewing will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 15 at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 16, 2026, at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2618 W. Bannock St, Boise. Burial will follow at Morris Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Greek Food Festival, a cause that reflects Annivas’ love for community, culture, and connection.
