Alfred Charles “Ace” Eisele, 72, of Meridian, Idaho, passed away peacefully at his home on November 1, 2025.

Al was born on September 1, 1953, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, to John Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Moyles) Eisele. He grew up in Clarks Summit, where he graduated from Abington Heights High School in 1971. A talented wrestler, Al placed among the top three in his weight class at the Pennsylvania State Championship that same year — an early glimpse of his grit and determination.

After high school, Al enlisted in the United States Air Force in October 1974 and served honorably at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls, Montana, until his discharge in August 1978. It was during these years that his strong work ethic and sense of responsibility deepened — traits that would define him throughout his life.

Al spent his professional career with Farmer Brothers Coffee Company, where he worked his way up from route salesman to branch manager. His dedication earned him recognition as the company’s National Salesperson of the Year, a testament to his drive and commitment to excellence.

He married the love of his life, Madlyn Ann “Cookie” (Lang) Eisele, on January 10, 1976. Together they built a life rooted in hard work, laughter, and family — and this coming January would have marked their 50th wedding anniversary. Al and Cookie raised three children, Trevor, Troy (“Bugs”), and Jaclyn (“Jackie,” “Lulu”), and nothing made Al happier than spending time surrounded by his family, especially his five grandchildren.

Al was demanding and disciplined, but his toughness was matched by deep devotion and an unmistakable sense of humor. He was a fighter — in life, in work, and in every project he tackled. Whether he was going to a car show, doing maintenance on one of his kid’s cars, bowling, playing pool, or lending a hand with a home repair, he threw himself in completely.

Friends and family will remember him for his generosity and warmth — the way he welcomed his kids’ friends and his nieces and nephews into his home, always making sure no one left hungry. Having lost his mother when he was young, Al knew the value of family and the comfort of a full table, and he worked tirelessly to provide that for others.

He was also known for his favorite sayings, including “It pays to get A’s,” “Work smarter, not harder,” and “Have a great day… no matter what!”

Al is survived by his loving wife, Madlyn “Cookie” Eisele; their children, Trevor Ryan and his wife Kasni,Troy David, and Jaclyn Ann Moore and her husband Tanner; five grandchildren; and his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Radziwill, Judith Ann Namiotka, and Mark David Eisele, as well as many nieces and nephews, and his dear friends George and Lydia Noble. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jack, and his good friend Ron Kudar.

A memorial and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15th, at 2:00 p.m. at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, 5400 W. Fairview Ave., Boise, Idaho.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Al’s memory may be made to the Idaho Food Bank or the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Boise.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Norman Zuckerman and the staff at St. Luke’s Cancer Institute in Boise, whose care and expertise gave Al an additional seventeen years of life following his initial lung cancer diagnosis. They would also like to thank St. Luke’s Hospice, especially Allison Livingston, RN, for their compassion, respect, and unwavering dedication to ensuring Al’s comfort and dignity during his final days.

Al’s life was a story of loyalty, hard work, laughter, and love — one that continues in the family he devoted himself to, the friendships he built, and the countless lives he touched along the way.
